A shot on my Lian Li PC-P80 modded the 140mm fans to white led, dunno why the saturation on my Zalman ZM-F3 red fans are so high.

I am very interested by this case but I want to know if it is a good case to hide cables ?

love the case and the setup too, i bet it screams. what got me was the heatsinks on the gpus, that's old school!

Feels good to be back, new Li-Li on the way and more modding determination than ever before. :cool:

I don't know if the aluminum on the PC-V351B is the same as other Lian Li cases, but can anyone tell me if it the panels on the 351 bend easily? I'm interested in getting one, or the new 352.

Which panels? The side ones. How much of a bend are you wanting? They are 1/8 in thick I think so they should bend or flex semi-easily. My watercooling loop makes my side panel bow out a tiny bit but the thumb screws (replaced the tiny screws) hold it down well enough. I'll try to get around to posting my almost entirely internal watercooled v351 this weekend. I've been putting it off for about 2 months so that I could do eyefinity with it. Just baught another LCD and am about to bid on or buy a third.

I understand artsy-fartsy photography but I am confused by a high-end, high-tech computer tower sitting in the middle of the outdoors??? I guess I'm not sophisticated like that.

Thanks guys, yes I am very happy with the Scythe Kaze Master Pro would highly recommend it! Should have a 5970 in there in the next week or so, can't resist the DX11 urge lol.

Figured I could ask this question here, and find out from you LiLi guys.

What should I get a PC-9F or a V1000? I love the way the V1000 looks and have wanted one for all of forever, but they cost a lot and are hard to find.
 
Those are 2 completely different worlds :). V1000 is nice, but unless you get the V1010 or V1000Z, you need to do few cuts for cable management. On other side, PC-9F is more a classical type, it all depends what you want. You don't make a mistake with any of them - of course V1000 will have stronger aluminum than any of standard cases.
 
No need to cut cable management holes on the PC-V1000B. In fact, I made a new mid panel for mine to ELIMINATE the stock holes! Just a couple carefull notches behind the motherboard tray is all you need...

I've seen several mint PC-V1000 series on ebay recently sell for less than $100 each.

Those are the holes i talk about, and because they are not here by default, you have to make them = "you need to do few cuts for cable management". :)

I think it's amazing but mostly for the fact that I like having a lot of stuff to look at and I need to control all my fans directly. I usually have my fans on manual control and hit auto when when I play games. You can set temperature maximums and when it hits those, it will automatically rap up the fan.

To make the most of it, you need to have thermistors placed in all the components you want to monitor/cool though. For me, the order goes:

1. CPU
2. GPU
3. Northbridge
4. HDD
6. Ram

and I have thermistors placed deeply into each one very close to the primary source of heat, not just taped to the outside.

My only beef is that the date/time and all the fan settings and presets are stored by a CR2032 cell battery (same as motherboard battery) that can be hard to get to if you need to replace it.
