whats the chance someone has the plastic piece to the usb3.0 header on the motherboard? I purchased a used ITX board and it the plastic part is damaged enough that it slips right off. Hell if you can point me to a US seller that would be good too.

Hot Glue. Electric insulator and easy to remove if need be. $0 fix if you have it on hand.

That header is a standard electrical part that should be carried in stock by digikey and mouser, both US companies with US stock. I recommend Amphenol as a company if they have it. F china MFs

I have 22 0 used Dell HA10USNM130 5V USB Wall Charger w/ micro usb cords in various length. You pay FCM/Priority shipping + PP fees if G&S. Zelle also accepted.

Looking for the most basic-ass LGA 1155 cooler for an i7-3770k. I lost the mounting bits to the original setup, and the system is much too old to be purchasing a new cooler at retail cost. Would gladly pay a bit above shipping for time spent :)

whats the chance yall know exactly what the plastic housing is called? I can find it in digikey and mouser but its got the pins in it.

Should be something like IDC header I think. I'm sure someone here will know the exact name. If you want to post the link on what you found that might help too.

Here's a couple I found that should do the trick. These are 'through hole' types that will solder through holes in the pcb. There are also 'surface mount' types. And I also found the pinout for the header so you know what's what:

Does anyone have any spare Zip disks? I need a 250 MB and a 750 MB if possible, to test a couple of drives that I ended up with. I looked on ebay but everyone wants 10 dollars to ship a single disk and uh, that's too much for a single item.

(Unless the 250 would be enough to test a 250 and a 750 MB drive? Not sure if these use separate heads for different disk formats...)

All Zip drives are backwards compatible with lower capacity disks, except the 750 MB drive; Which can read 100 MB disks, but can't write to them. It should be able to read and write to a 250 MB disk fine.

Just be VERY careful to verify the disk you're using is not damaged or dirty. Zip disks manufactured later in the 90s to the early 2000s were often low quality garbage and had high failure rates. The mylar disks had a habit of fraying, delaminating or shedding the magnetic coating. When inserted into a drive, these disks could knock the heads out of alignment, or rip the heads clean out of the drive.

I wouldn't consider $10 per disk unreasonable. They were a lot more expensive new decades ago, plus the rapidly dwindling stock of usable disks because of the later poor quality disks.

I think I have a 250 MB disk. It should fit into a flat rate USPS box that I can ship to you for the cost of shipping (which is probably around 10) if you are interested

For the cost of shipping + paypal fees + heat. Would prefer to give to users who are military, veteran, etc.

  1. 2* Logitech K830. Amzn store customer return. Has retail box. Looks great. One has a loose power button (cannot power down). Both hold charges. Just the keyboard and unifying adapter. Unsure if fully functional. This item is 2 lb.
[*]2* Logitech K480. Amzn store customer return. Has retail box but will ship without and inside a usps flat rate padded envelope ($10). Looks great. I did factory reset both. Takes AA battery (not included). Unsure if fully functional.
    [*]2* Netgear PTV3000-100NAS. BNIB.
[*]1* Peerless-AV PRG-UNV: Precision Gear Projector. Looks new in opened box but *might* be missing parts. This one? Usps medium flat rate ($15).
    [*]2* Linksys EA6400 router.
[*]1* Logitech Harmony 650. Takes AA battery (not included).
[*]1* Logitech Harmony 700. Takes AA battery (not included).

Anybody got an old charging cable for either one of these old phones? One's a Nokia 3650 and the other is a digital Motorola Startac.
Bumping this back up for just the Startac charger and battery. Here are a couple of pics.

I thought I had an old motorola charger, found it, but it's for a C155. Barrel plug. The Startac had some weird wide plastic nightmare plug.

An option that could take care of both phones is one of those universal battery chargers that the battery fits into. In my experience they charge at a rate of 500ma, which is a bit much for some of those older batteries, but if you're just powering them on for goofs to read old texts, that could work. There is a chance those cells are dead beyond recovery. I'd be leery of charging them indoors or around anything flammable if they read 0.00V on a multimeter.

500 mAh is far too much for a flat battery, they need to be brought up slowly at something like 20-50 mAh until they reach their lower operating limit, which is around 3.4v. After that, they can be charged at whatever rate they were designed for. If you smacked 500 mAh across a completely drained lithium battery, there's a big chance of it getting exciting and going on fire. I'd recommend a lithium battery charger and just use cheap alligator leads to go from the charger to the battery terminals. A good smart lithium battery charger can detect the flat battery and will automatically limit the current until the voltage is high enough to normal charge.

500ma is the normal charging current. When cells are completely flat, typical internal resistance has skyrocketed to several ohms. Even if the charger didn't know any better, and I don't know that the cheap universals don't, you still aren't going to get anywhere near normal charging current. But I would still take the precaution of doing the initial charge where nothing bad can happen if things get hot. What's more likely to happen is that the cell can leak, but that hasn't happened too often to me, either. I have had new cells show signs of leakage more than used cells! lol

Looking for a 4th gen Intel CPU (LGA1150) for an older machine. Would prefer an i3 or better, but beggars can't be choosers.

I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation 1CPU key that pulled from a decommissioned server.

Also have an old Optiplex GX100 for anyone interested in vintage computing.

If you're OK with a i3-4160, I can probably get you a few. Let me check tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy S7 4gb/32gb. It was used on RedPocket AT&T, unsure if unlocked.

Longshot, but I'm looking for one or two 8GB sticks of DDR3. The HBA on my TrueNAS prevents two of my four DDR slots from working so I need to maximize the two I have left.

Does it need to be non-ECC? I have tons of ECC ddr3, not sure if any of them are 8gb but I can check.
