The Great Keyboard N-Key Rollover (NKRO) Test/Round-up

TE QUICK BOWN OX UMP OVE TE LAZY OG

Logitech Wave Cordless

Is that because of the Wave's keyboard matrix or the fact that it's wireless? ;) j/k

I owned a Logitech wireless keyboard several years ago and liked it a lot. It didn't seem to hamper my gaming ability/enjoyment even though it probably didn't pass these silly little tests. I wouldn't worry about it unless your board is blocking a specific key combination that you need to use in a game...if it does, try remapping the key or springing for a true NKRO board.

Nah I don't really have any problems. Never noticed one anyway.

It's very responsive for a wireless. The only wireless piece of equipment I will use. Only complaint is that the F-keys are broken into 3's instead of 4's, so when I go to work I push the wrong keys out of habit (feel by grouping).

Speaking of PS3s the Dualshocks are completely NKRO and have double shot keys.

Unfortunately typing silly phrases with both shift keys held down is not to be recommended with a DualShock.

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS RIGHT OVER THE LAZY DOG

-MBP 13" keyboard - worked fine.

Perfect on logitech G11. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Held down both shifts and caps lock.

Nope, this stupid test works on the Logitech G11. They route the membrane matrix a bit funky. But since it's still a simple rubber dome keyboard it will fail other combos.

Try holding Q and A and then hitting DownArrow.

Yep, this is a function of how Logitech and Razer lay out their "Gaming Optimized 2 key rollover" matrix on the switch membranes.

I suspect this thread is spammed at multiple forums because of a Logitech or a Razer Product Manager.

Razer BlackWidow - How does the Tarantula beat that?

Read the post above yours.

It's the way all a quirk of how they lay out the switching matrix. Doesn't mean the Tarantula is better. Or worse. But definitely shows your keyboard is not NKRO. It's 2KRO.

This is one of those silly tests. Real geeks do this.

This, folks, is a pangram.

You don't have to type "right".

It's "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog".

People are terrible at even following the directions of this idiotic test. This will do the same thing with 2 less letters:
"The five boxing wizards jump quickly."

what a fucking disaster of a keyboard this is.

Got an old Compaq-branded PS2 keyboard here that's lasted me about 12 years or so- I'll just post the dropped keys instead of following the instructions from some marketing plant:

Could have been better I suppose, really satisfied with this keyboard though. Well worth the 2 weeks it took for FedEx to get to sweden.

(no output at all)

I had thought the Model M's were better than this...
