What a stupid test. Don't everybody go out and buy a Logitech G19 or K340. Or a Microsoft comfort curve for that matter. The $150+ Logitech G19 passes the test because they routed the switch matrix a bit differently. It'll fail on other combos. Same with the other rubber dome non-Nkey keyboards passing this test.

For a complete listing of Nkey keyboards see this Listing of Nkey Keyboards (and the sorry tale of keyboard manufacturers that lie about it).

Microsoft Digital Media 3000, USB, $25, eat it. :p

It IS a lot easier to just look up your keyboard on this list of NKRO keyboards.

If it is not there then it is 2KRO.

Only thing this test tells you is how the engineer decided to layout the two shift keys into the keyboard matrix.

T C X M T V T ZY are the ones that didn't work

Probably since Z X C V and M are all on the bottom row. Not sure why B and N worked worked, though - maybe because they are in the center?. Or why T and Y didn't work.

Keyboard is a '97 PS/2 IBM Model M.

Because it depends on how the matrix is laid out.

This is ALL this test shows.

Stupid test since a bunch of keyboards pass this and yet are NOT NKRO.

Seems kind of pointless of a test then. The board I did it on was a buckling spring mechanical keyboard, and it couldn't do it. However, my laptop scissor keyboard can.

Does it really matter? I've been using the IBM Model M for like six years, and never had ghosting issues.

THE NEIGHBOURS COMPLAIN ABOUT MY ALPS

Nan Tan KB-6251EA swapped to Alps blues. Built before dogs got too lazy to eviscerate foxes, when there was never a reason to hold down the caps lock and both shift keys at the same time, not that it's even a reason now.
