The Floppotron Is Incredible

    What happens when you take 64 3.5" floppy drives, 8 de-lidded hard drives, and 2 old scanners, then combine them with a man in Poland with way too much time and talent? You get Pawel Zadrozniak and The Floppotron. Enjoy,

    It took me far too long that the song playing in the beginning was being played BY the drives.

    so awesome to listen to these things, but omg someone really knows what they are doing far too much time on hands and incredibly creative o_O

    these things always put a smile on my face :)
    in some way, this setup might resemble the technology Gary Numan used to create the original sound ...

    for those wondering/interested, his latest album "Savage" from 09/2017 might be worth a try !
    (I think it's great, of course different and evolved, but still has that Numan sound and vocals)
