Yes, I've search, on here, on google, etc.

I want to experience A3D (3.0) in older games that supported it.

I am currently running windows 7 x64 with auzuntech forte + sennheiser hd590

i tried running half life and enabling a3d in sound options, to no effect.

I tried running gothic 2, and switching sound devices, no effect.

What I found was that only 3 cards support A3D 2.0:

Aureal Vortex SQ2500, Diamond Monster Sound MX300,Montego II Quadzilla

What cards fully supports A3D 3.0 (reverb, volumetric sound)? Aureal SQ2500 Vortex 2? or only Vortex2 SQ3500?

Does that mean the only way to experience A3D is to throw together a Windows 98 box?

Do I have other alternatives?

Do modern Creative cards still have a3d in them?
