Testing stability in Ubuntu 7.10

I would like to know how can I test stability of my OCed CPU in Ubuntu 7.10 (something like Orthos in windows) - link to some step by step guide would be perfect because I am linux noob

sudo apt-get install cpuburn,

and then run either burnK6, burnK7, burnMMX, burnBX, burnP5, burnP6.

If you have two cores, run two instances. sit back and have fun. Also Prime95 is available as well for linux.

Compile your kernel a few times. Oh wait, this is ubuntu, never mind

Kernel compiling has been one of the more accurate stability tests i've seen.
