The stick was interesting tho. Two conductors separated by an insulator with your hand acting as the bridge.

Don't understand the versus in this.
The real battle was Edison vs Westinghouse. Tesla worked for Edison at one time but left when Edison apposed Tesla's idea of alternating current power distribution. A system vastly superior to Edison's DC system.
George Westinghouse saw Tesla for what he was; a genius and hired him on the spot.
