I'm investigating using a MS Terminal Server on network A with Cisco VPN to network B.

The elegant possibility would be for the TS to have a permanent VPN link, such that people on A can just run a TS and get to B. Is this possible?

The inelegant possibility would be for people to run the Cisco VPN client to B inside their TS session. Is this possible?

i did this in my last company as a temporary solution which we later added a point to point dedicated. It does work. just make sure the keep alive settings are correct on both ends, the client and the vpn router.

Yes, just use two Cisco ASAs with a dedicated VPN link OR you can do clientless VPN on an ASA on the terminal server network and add the RDP plugin on the clientless site and they can remote in just by going to the website, or you can do it with AnyConnect.

What you are describing is the whole reason VPNs exist lol.

This sort of stuff isn't my area of expertise. Are there any good guides for the clueless looking to become modestly clued?
