Hello,

I've been looking around the forums lately and I've seen people talk about the temps of their cards. Mostly when taking about modding a pro to an xt card. My questions is how are they doing this? Does the ATi line of cards have built in diodes for reading heat or are they just using those really cool (and not in my possession) heat heat guns?

If you need cards I'm ether going to get a Built by ATI 9800pro or if I just ignore my duties try and scrape of for the Xtacy x800pro.

9600xt, 9800 pro (those on xt pcb), 9800xt and all x800s have temp. monitoring circuitry on board .. the ati control panel can show the temp, so can atitool

aaah thanks I was wondering about that.

I wonder why this hasn't been made more common lately
