Hey, I am currently using three programs to measure temps on system. Cpuid hardware monitor, Speedfan and Fox one which came with the motherbaord. I have a foxconn X38A and a Q6600 chip, with a Scythe Ninja Rev B cooler. Currently using 1.36vcore and running at 3.2Ghz.

I wanted to use Coretemp as everyone here seems to think it is the most accurate, but I can't get into work with Vista 64 bit. The version that is supposed to work that bypasses the driver signing doesn't work on mine.

So, if I can't get coretemp to work which would be the most accurate? At the moment Fox one and Speedfan get the same temps: which are:-

Core1-23
core2-23
core3-20
core4-21

Hardware monitor though has these temps

Core1-38
Core2-39
core3-35
core4-36

Thanks!!

The differences look like the standard +15, so the higher temps are probably correct.

Strange, the tweaked CoreTemp even works on my laptop in Vista64.
