TechSmith is offering a free download of SnagIt 7.2.5 screen capture/image editing software for filling out a simple registration form. Thanks bubut29.

  2. Check your email for registration code.

Note, this version supports is compatible with Windows XP only.
 
On that SD thread, I've thread that some Vista users have been able to install it. It seems to be YMMV for them. But no problems for those of us w/ XP. :cool:

I think TechSmith will pull this deal on June 5th, so a few days left to grab it.
 
nice. i'll just run it in my VM in vista. ...or try it in win7. thanks for the linkage
 
win7 with a VT processor at the least would work i guess

snagit was around back in the mid 90's. it was awesome then, i wonder how it is now.
 
installs fine on the win 7 rc. at the end something about the printer dosen't install for me. works fine.

i will be purchasing this. this is the top snag software, bar NONE!!!!!
 
Good software, I still use it for video capture when needed. I'm using a newer version though.
