Okay, I always had a simple VPN set up in RRAS on server 2003, using a policy to allow users in the 'VPN Users' group to log in and access the internet and other network resources.

I have set up the same in server 2012, and users in that group are able to connect, are given an IP address but cannot access any resources outside of that server.

I'm sure there is something I am missing; anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Firewall?
Can the users connected via VPN ping IP in the servers LAN range?

Users can ping, and access resources on the VPN server itself when connected, but nothing else on the local network. I have tried disabling the firewall.

in the DHCP pool that is used to hand out addresses to conencted clients are there any DNS /gateway
details in there

It gives the two correct DNS Servers 10.0.0.50 and 10.0.0.51, and the IP address of the VPN server as the router, which I assume is correct?

Nothing else on the local network or internet, by IP address or hostname.
