War3Source is a mod where you can choose many different types of "races". If you play Team Fortress 2, you should already know that it contains classes. War3Source aims to fill the gaps that Team Fortress 2 has failed to implement by introducing races. Each race comes with an average of 4 skills which contain 4 levels of skills, for a total level of 16 levels per race. By adding each race's levels you get something called "total levels". The more total levels you have helps you to unlock more races. The higher your total levels, the more powerful race you get to play. NGU Clan at NGUCLAN DOT COM, has been continously enhancing war3source. We are working on creating level 20 races, and the old war3source races will be put into a category called "Archive".
Some Races have abilites and ultimates with special buttons you can press to use them. You would bind a key to your keyboard for usage of these extra abilities and ultimates. nguclan.com has a forum in the tutorial part of it that contains information on how to do this, if you do not know or you can always ask someone in game.
Here are a few of the races that you can play:
Undead Scourge, Human Alliance, Orcish Horde, Night Elf, Blood Mage, Shadow Hunter, Warden, Crypt Lord, Corrupted Disciple, Soul Reaper, Blood Hunter, Naix, Succubus Hunter, Chronos, Lich, Sacred Warrior, Hammerstorm, Scout, Dark Elf, Dragonborn, including some New Races: Human Stronghold, Orcish Force, and Blood Priest (which blood priest is subject to change). And about 15 more to go in order for us to be ready for our "Good" vs "Evil" type of game play.
We are planning to create 2 sides of races. It will be almost like a "Good" Blue Team vs "Evil" Red Team type of game play where your choice of races will be determined by the team you choose. At this time we are adding all new races into 3 categories: Offense, Defense, and Support.
NGU CLAN owns a special beta server where we do beta testing for our regular running servers so that we do not ruin anyone's game play. We never stop trying new things, and creating new upgrades so that there will be plenty of fun for everyone! We are currently in the progress of developing some new races that war3source currently does not have, although we share with war3source from time to time. We have increased the amount of gold you can earn so that you can afford the future items we plan to create.
We have just recently added GAMEME Stats to our Atlanta Georgia Server! This should also increase a level of excitement to our games!
