While I am probably putting my life in my own hands by sharing this, as my wife would kill me if she knew I was "promoting" McDonald’s (she hates McDonald’s with a passion), I am sure there are more than few readers will find it humorous that Rick and Morty have impacted the world's largest fast food restaurant's menu. But for just one day. If you are not a Rick and Morty fan, the video below will help you out in understanding this madness. Now go forward and poison yourself with whatever that sweet tasting nectar of crappiness is made of. Rick would be proud.

It really doesn't taste good. Their chicken stuff is ok but their meat is disgusting. I become depressed and want to kill myself when ever I ate a big Mac.

I just don't get Rick N Morty, it's not funny. I heard all these hipsters, friends and relatives rave about it; watched around 20 minutes from two shows and was like, almost anything on adult swim is way more funny. What's the big deal?

While I fully acknowledge that some people just won't like it, which is fine, it also depends on which episodes you watched. There are some that are great, some that are ok, some that are meh, and some that are meh unless you've watched earlier episodes at which point they become great.
 
Fuck that. McD's needs to bring back Hot Mustard...permanently.

It's not for everyone, it's basically a sardonic take on human culture, so a lot of it"s content is lost on people who don't consider such things.

I am serious. It tastes like shit to me and its not great for your health either. I dont eat at fast food restaurants anymore (havent since ~2004). I rarely eat out because most places just arent that great for the money you spend. I do enjoy some really good restaurants but I save that mostly for special occasions.

Thank goodness that they use local meat sources. So far the worst MCD I had was in Saudi Arabia, my local MCD is pretty good as meat regulations are pretty strict in the EU.

Telling people "People who eat at McDonald's are seeking an early grave." is kind of a strong stance on it. There's plenty of healthy menu items at McDonalds, you don't always have to go and get Chicken Nuggets or a Cheeseburger. Their grilled chicken wraps and sandwiches are fine. Not all of us have time to sit at home and prepare full course meals or go shopping every week.
 
Also note, it's only the first 100 that will get this sauce. Knowing my city, every McDonalds within a 20 mile radius is going to have a line of people at 4am.
 
Rick and Morty must of been a trip off some shrooms and Back to the Future with the Doc and Micahel J Fox's Marty Mcfly.

Thats my opinion based on the facts that their food is actually horrible for your health (even most of their healthy options). I mean I guess if you get a salad...but have you seen how long their salads sit out there? Ive heard horror stories of days old items. So yeah I think its a poor health choice. But its still your choice to make. I never condemned anyone for making that choice. You want to seek an early grave youre more than welcome to. I am sure plenty of people think I am looking for an early grave when I go flying.

Its funny that you mention cooking time though. I hear that from my friends all the time "we dont have time to cook". Yet they spend a lot of time doing everything else, including spending 2 hours eating at a bar etc. I work two jobs (one full time IT and one part time instructing students in flying) and I still find time to cook after both. I get not everyone is good at managing their time but I leave people with this:

You make time for what is important to you. If cooking and your health isnt important thats fine, just dont complain to me about not having time. You have time to do it, you just chose to do something else that you think is a higher priority. Your life your priorities. My life my priorities.

Caveat: There are always corner cases (i.e. the guy who works 3 or 4 jobs and only sleeps when he gets home etc). That does not alter the generalized statement above.

That article is complete garbage. Any food is bad when you dump a giant packet of ranch or ceaser dressing on it. You can't take human nature into account for the levels of unhealthy eating in the world. That's by choice, McDonalds GIVES you the choice to order something healthy, most people choose not to. As for time, I don't have time. The last thing I want to do when I get home at 7PM is start cooking dinner until 9 and barely getting an hour of leisure in before it's time to go to bed. I'll cook on the weekends but weekdays are a no, I rather spend my time doing something I enjoy.

And thats fine, see my statement about priorities. I hold nothing against you for it. Your life your priorities. I get to have my opinion about those priorities (in as much as it matters, which in your case is not at all) as do you about mine but thats about it.

Anyway we are getting a bit off topic.
 
It is important to note that not all of the listed locations on the website will have THE sauce - most of those listed have the other sauces (for the fellow above, Hot Mustard is one of the other sauces they're bringing back) d and/or the posters. Hell, there are only like...2-3 locations in my state from the map utility that say Szechuan! It may be easier for me to actually go to a neighboring state to find it. It is insane of McD's to make things so rare - at least have the sauce at every location that has the posters.

Even the posters though... I assume most people going are those who want the Szechuan Rick And Morty poster. If they're only making 1000 of them (of each type) nationwide, then the amount any particular location has is going to be miniscule, right? I mean, I don't ever eat at McD because of their ingredients, but I'd consider a trip to pick up the poster and sauce for the collectible nature. I hope there is going to be some protocol for people lining up and whatnot (time to arrive and start a place in line), because this is going to be an ebay catastrophe with such limited quantities. It would have been much better with 1000 posters at each location or whatnot at least. Ultimately, I don't see any reason why after this McD's (who is struggling to remain relevant in some ways) won't bring back all the sauces that are in demand, but I imagine the posters will always be limited.

THAT is only ONE SZECHUAN POSTER PER LOCATION!

Compare this to the one for the sauce itself (if your're lucky enough to be in a participating location that has the actual sauce..

Unbelievable... especially for the poster, I can't see the reason to stand in line considering that the very first person is likely to the be only one with the Szechuan poster, and the next 9 will pick up the rest

McD's is not that bad. Super Sensationalize Me, the guy deliberately overate at every meal. People have done the 1 month McD's only with normal portions. Nothing close to what happened to Spurlock.
