I may need to do a System Restore on a PC. The OS is Win7 Home Premium 64bit.

The PC has a RAID1 setup.( two drives )

My question is: If a System Restore is performed will it restore both the drives in the Array?

It may seem a silly question but I am not able to find the answer.

Thanks,

RAID 1= Mirrored
If you do system restore, then yes, both drives will be affected. If you do not want to affect both drives, remove one of the drives, change raid options in the BIOS. Both drives contain exactly the same info. In the case you are not happy with the restore, you can reinstall the once removed drive after formatting the restored drive, then turn RAID back on and it will rebuild the formatted drive to its original condition.

Fish

If the RAID array was setup using a controller (and not done in Windows with software), then it doesn't matter, because the array appears as one drive to Windows.

Why are you using RAID 1? It will only protect against a hardware failure; any sort of software failure (which is far, far more common) will be duplicated to both disks.
