Awesome. Nice see whatever rights issues were holding it back from a digital release how several years have been worked out.

For me, this and Rainbow Six Raven Shield were and are still the all time high points for tactical shooters.

I would love to just see an HD remake of this game...no changes to gameplay, just graphical updates.

Me, too. I'd open my wallet in a fairly generous fashion to that end.

Bonus: Somehow the floodgates for mods get opened and people can go wild.

It was on sale at Direct 2 Drive, but when they switched to Gamefly they removed it from download and offered customers refunds. So it is good to see it return. As for a sequel, there was a SWAT 5 fairly far into development before it was cancelled.

Yep. I had it with the IGN owned D2D. The last excuse I heard about why it never transferred over or was available anywhere else was due to some weird rights issues between Irrational, Take-Two, and Activision. That was several years ago though.

Such a great shooter.

All it really needs is a texture update.
