The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from Google to stop a class action lawsuit filed by advertisers. The Supreme Court's decision not to hear this case means that the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in 2015 will stand.

The 2008 lawsuit accused Google of violating California fair advertising laws because it misled advertisers about where the ads would be placed. The Adwords service was primarily aimed at placing ads next to relevant Google Internet search results. But the plaintiffs said Google should have disclosed that ads would also appear in undesirable places such as error pages and undeveloped websites known as parked domains.

No sympathy for Google.

They support leftist politicians that pass these kind of laws, and then appoint the jokes that pass for judges on the 9th circuit court of appeals.

Guess Google found out the laws sometimes do apply to them, not just to the little guys that can't afford teams of high priced lawyers.

That's not fair! Google is always the good guy and always right, right? Hello? What's that? Don't be evil was changed to be less evil a few years ago? Oh.

All joking aside, glad to see the Supreme Court say no. That was the right call.
