I also didn't receive a cancellation email. I will expect it now. Lol
Mine is still in order verification, i ordered it a week ago.
I haven't been refunded either but it did say it should ship within 5 business days. So that's today.
I still have order verification as well. I reached out to newegg business customer service to cancel and they said they couldn't. Live and learn, yet another reason not to use newegg, it's gone downhill.
I have a receiver sitting in order verification right now
depending on how many orders there were, it'll probably take 3-5 days before all the cancellations are sent out.. to much red tape to go through with different credit card companies, email providers, fraud protection, etc making it impossible to just click "cancel all" "email all".
Yes, you do need a business to join but creating a business isn't that hard. Just setup a LLC in your state, which is usually quite cheap.
I've had a Newegg business account before I had a real business and like others here I believe it can be done with just a SSN.
Amazon business on the other hand required verification of my current LLC
So, is it still to good to be true?
Well.... still waiting honestly.. My payment was charged.. but its been 2 days since I was supposed to hear from the shipper. Newegg sent them a notice but no reply so far.. I'll try again later in the morning and see whats going on..
Keep us posted, I have a business and wouldn't mind picking up a stick, lol.
You do know that this miss-priced "deal" is dead. I'd be surprised if anyone gets a stick.
Finally got my order cancelled and my money back. Shame it was a waste of time, but at least the turn around was faster than say Paypal.
Mine is still in order verification :/
And it will stay there until you cancel it. :\
Contacted newegg but have not heard back
I got my cancellation last night....I am surprised it took so long
I'm surprised anyone bit on this.
I had to at least give it a shot. Worst case, it got cancelled. I was out 1 minute of my time. Best case, the order went through and I save a few hundred dollars.
After forcing NE to contact them on my behalf, they finally cancelled the order. Tag it as too good to be true.
I normally dont but once in awhile I'll give it a go....like was said above Im not out anything but a few minutes of my time.
Thats how I felt too, going to hold off on building a PC until memory prices go down. This would have been an excuse to build something new
