I had a xp2500+ overclocked to 2.2ghz but recently my mother died so I am thinking of upgrading. What cpu/motherboard/HSF does anyone recommend? I was thinking maybe a amd64 3000+ with maybe a neo platinum mobo not sure about HSF. The SLK800 won't work on amd64s will it(thats from my 2500+) I currently have about 230 saved up in paypal and will probably spend about 300ish.

opps....lol my mom is fine. My motherboard died. LOL opps. Sorry mom.
 
why is that DFI board not at newegg. I ussually do all my shopping there.
 
Ya know, i have no idea. i do all my shopping at the egg as well, oh well, they can't have everything... :D
I think i will write them and get them to stock it, mwahahaha
