Go to amazon and look at Lepai and Topping amplifiers.
Usually a Lepai Stereo amp and a 12 Volt 5 or 6 Amp LCD monitor power brick (I find the included 12 Volt 2 Amp inadequate, hums at higher volume settings) will drive most bookshelf speakers.
Topping offers subwoofer single or pair amplifiers. or possibly better stereo amp.
Anyway.
You can split the signal, or use computer or sound card sound split, powered subwoofer or passive.
Or add a plate amplifier to unpowered sub
