Stupid question: Selling a broken monitor?

I have a broken CRT monitor that's been laying around my house for a while. Before I just end up throwing it out, I was just wondering if it would be somehow possible to sell it. Is there even such a thing as people buying broken CRT monitors?

Reason I haven't thrown it out yet is because it's a very good CRT monitor (22" Viewsonic P225fb) and it would still have some good value if it is easily repairable.
 
Considering people frequently sell those or similar monitors in working condition for around $50 I would say your chances of finding anyone who will buy a broken one are pretty slim.
 
Yup, don't bother. Heck, I sold a 19" SGI CRT in good condition and working for only $5 on craigslist just to get rid of it.
