Hello .

I had my CPU delided yesterday and i'd like to test it out
I'm on adaptive voltage and i know that you should not stress on that mode because of over volting.

Though, I read that the stress test with XTU does not over volt and is safe to use on adaptive.

i would like to have confirmation on that before running the stress test.

Thanks !

yes it's safe just check and verify that the Adaptive maximum voltage is set. generally in most mobos there's an option to select adaptive and a maximum voltage which will work as a cap, work great for those kind of stress test.

XTU is pretty weak for stress testing so its probably "safe" however dont put to much into trusting it to validate stability.

it will happily runs for over 7 hours on a system that makes errors in 40 mins of prime95.
offcause its up to you t odecice how important stability is for you and your workload.

XTU is an even way worse memory test.
