I think sd11 is referring to the average skill level on consoles being higher than that on PC due to the larger talent pool. Everything else he says is...well, yeeeeah...
And he's right, there's not as many people for sure. But to say that it's stupid to play FG's on pc is pretty ignorant. Not everyone has the same goals as SD11 and others over at SRK. I have no delusions of ever going to any major tournaments.
