Some kind of Bad April Fool's joke gone horribly wrong. When I saw it ranked 1 on gamespot's most followed games for PC, I did a double take. "Surely this can't really be a game?"

It is a game. It got a bad review, but guest reviewers are having a field day

9.1 on Gamespot:

5 stars on Amazon:

"From the first click you feel that noticeable twitch in the tip of your penis and you know that you will soon follow the path to an extremely intense orgasmic experience like none you have ever, or will ever, feel. The street cleaning is representative of the cleaning of both your soul and your inner most pipes. By the end of the first level, I had literally pooped myself because I was unwilling to leave the game for even a second. This game is forming the basis for a new religion, greater then any other, ready to lead our society into a new age of enlightenment. By playing this game, you will join the new revolution and become part of something greater then yourself. You will forever live in regret if you do not have the experience of playing this game. "

Yes, I know. Ewwww. :)

apparently you think virtual streets just 'clean themselves.'

I remember seeing this at wal-mart. I might go pick it up now because everyone loves it so much!

I have to say that it imho unfairly got a 1.7 from Gamespot. Sure they may not like the game but a lot of the actual engine is pretty cool. Do I want to spend 20 minutes driving the street cleaner? No, but games also have to be judged based on the technology and how well they actually simulate what they are supposed to simulate. This game seems to simulate street cleaning well and hence should have been ranked somewhere around 4 or maybe 5 due to lack of general entertainment appeal.

Glad the Gamespot community is giving it a thumbs up, considered to join just to vote it up but lost interest.

They also did Garbage Truck Simulator, Digger Simulator, Delivery Truck Simulator, etc....

bah will only give it a 7.0

they got lot of detail down but no havok in breaking the law.

Tbh, if they would bundle all their "simulator" games and put them for $19.95 (total) on Steam I'd buy them.

Wrong. Games need be judged on their GAMEPLAY. Your mentality is the reason why we have "all graphics and NO GAMEPLAY".

I hold you personally responsible:

"Guards, take him to the stocks".

/ragequit

ie. fuck the engine

p.s. Gamespot is not giving the game the thumbs up, they are lambasting it - click on the player reviews. You missed the point of this thread entirely.
