I'm looking to set up a streaming audio server so I can listen to my music at work as my MP3 player is too small. I've been looking up a few things and searching around a bit but haven't found anything that fit my requirements.
I'd like to be able to view all my songs in a playlist, much like winamp, and be able to control which song plays (an absolute must). I don't want other people listening to the stream, it is for me and me only, so I'd like it to be password protected if possible.
Essentially, on my computer at work I'd like to open Winamp or WMP and see a playlist of individual songs, but stream them from my home computer.
I was looking at Shoutcast, but it didn't look like it would fit my needs. I remember a thread posted here that mentioned a program that does what I'm looking for, but I couldn't find it.
Anyone know of something that'll work for me?
