Strange problem with MSI motherboard, any help appreciated!

Hi guys, I figure the [H]ardOCP crowd would be the best to ask for this, I have a MSI motherboard running an Athlon 64 3500+ processor, I'm using the cool & quiet mode in the bios (where it clocks it down to ~1000Mhz and then varies the speed accordingly), it used to work fine, but now MSI's Core Center app reports my system as running at a full 2200Mhz all the time (just started maybe 30-45minutes ago, right after a reboot to upgrade some software). I checked the BIOS, C&Q is enabled there, so that's out, I've downgraded to a previous version of Core Center with no luck. I'd rather not have my system run at full blast al lthe time if I coudl avoid it. I have emailed MSI with this issue, thinking they may be able to help, so we'll see, in the mean time, any of you guys have ideas?
 
Nevermind guys, I got it fixed :/ a setting was wrong in power management, it was set to 'always on' instead of 'minimal power management' *sigh* So much ado over nothing, eh? Thanks for the help :)
