Steam Weekend Deal: All 3 Hitman games for $10

I might have to get this. I remember playing the Codename 47 demo on my P2 300 w/Voodoo 2 SLI back in 2000. The game was so different and I found the first level really enjoyable. For some reason I never really played the others, so this is a prime opportunity.

Sucks about Contracts though. They should either get that issue sorted out or just remove the song...this isn't a complete pack without it!
 
Dam I never played Contracts either, but I listened to the youtube video of the song in question, and just get rid of it, it sucks anyway, and put the game up.

Besides, not everyone may have access to Steam right away and thus are forced to purchase through a browser.

And it's just like anything else. Why take the time to post about a deal and not provide a link, scan of a receipt, or what else you may have at your disposal to show potential buyers the item and information?

your thinking is wrong. A scan of the receipt is too much to ask. Posting a link is easy and should be included (if possible) but I don't get all bent about it (if missing) because finding the product on the internet is easy unless you are retarded.

Yes because the 1% of the forum here that doesn't have steam or know what it is but magically know and love hitman are going to come in here crying for a link. Technically the rules apply but the unwritten rule of common sense says to me your scenario isn't likely to occur.

I doubt it is the band themselves, since Clutch are cool dudes, but the record label they were on at the time (Atlantic) causing the hold up. Sucks that the song won't be in there if they release it since it is probably my favorite song they've done.
 
i have the hitman 2 3 and 4 in boxed versions, and i was about to buy this pack just for steam convenience, but it doesnt have contracts :(
 
Bought Blood Money, have had Contracts for years and never bothered trying it. Should I even bother now? Is it really worth it, it looks like shit of course, but so did Half-Life, which I finally decided to finish after starting years ago when it came out... :eek: Now I'm working through Opposing Force and then Blue Shift as well.
 
it feels like a slow paced strategy/puzzle fps, using assassination, misdirection, and disguise equipment.

the goal is usually to not kill anyone except your single target, in a way that doesn't look suspicious to investigators, all while penetrating security or being in a public place.

they are fun games, and you will die if you try to play it like a first person shooter. they have very unique game play. i had fun.

I played it killing everyone I could..got through a good amount of levels like that.
 
Question: Do these games support the 1600 x 1050 resolution? Im attempting to play the demo but it doesn't have an option for this resolution.

Yes, but you have to edit the config file in the game directory manually.
 
I edited the configuration settings in notepad and set the resolution like this

"Resolution 1600x1050" but then it gives an error Direct3D: Unable to create device. Try changing resolution of color depth

Add the word "window" to end end of the config file (without the quotes)

Also, shouldn't that be 1680x1050, not 1600x1050?

I purchased them and I already have c47, contracts on the PC & Blood Money on the 360. These games never get old.
 
Been playing through c47 this is a really good game. I don't see how people like it over sa though.

According to the metascore, they don't. I think a lot of people have fond memories of C47 because it was a different and refreshing game at the time though.

I waited too long and epic-failed at getting this deal...grrr.
