I I have known several people that have dealt with sexual abuse from people with power over them. They're afraid to say anything, afraid to quit, afraid to say no. The abuse is pure psychological manipulation. It completely fucks up a person's mind. The more of it they face, the more it looks like their abuser is getting away with it, the harder it is to say anything. They feel its pointless and that the best thing for them to do is to say anything and act as it everything is okay.
