Star Wars Outlaws

You assume its a Windows problem and not some issue with the game or a GPU driver. The latter is what I've found to be the cause of instability in games more often than not.
I finished the game on prior version of windows without a single crash.

Can confirm got a crash or two yesterday. Was trying to do the Sabacc quests. Kind of lame, I already mentioned I don't like overly long card games in video games. But then it crashed partway through a match. I think I will give up. Seems unnecessarily hard and long (7-10 minutes) for some of those dumb card games. I did the first quest but then the one with Lando is a huge jump in length.

Still in freefall.
Likely sub-$20 for holiday sales.

Played another couple hours this weekend and while I didn't get any CTDs, the gameplay is just not for me. The sneaking around and stealth shit completely did me in! I've never played a SW game where I didn't have a blaster or lightsaber I could use on the enemies and I have no interest in starting now. So glad I tried it on Ubisoft+ before buying it or else I'd really be pissed!

Steam might really help the game take off.
Honestly, if Massive does what they’re saying so they can do a soft re-launch for the holidays with most things polished off, it’s not a bad game. I still think it’s above average.

I feel like this is a given for any EA/Ubisoft game where it makes no sense to buy the game outright given you can just subscribe for a month and finish it.
Within a few days it will drop below Skull & Bones. There is definitely something abnormal happening with Outlaws.

This is not true. I dont even see it sub 45 dollars anywhere let alone sub 30 bucks. I would buy it at sub 30 just to mess around with it.
It is true.
I found it on 4 different key shops for under $30 w/ discount codes, and another 6 for under $45 w/ discount codes.
Unless you're one of those peeps with "morals" and won't give your money to "grey market sites" because they are "robbing the devs", than you are correct.

What sites? It depends. If a grey market site I would count that (Green Man, CD keys etc.). But if it is one of those sites that buy keys using stolen credit cards by random sellers I wouldn't consider that. That is more or less private sellers using stolen cards with mass purchases and not indicative of legitimate selling prices.

Green man gaming is an authorized seller for what they sell, not grey market :). I agree with you though.

When is the big, "game changing" patch that adds all the fun supposed to drop?

with the Steam release

"Our next and 4th Title Update will be released on November 21st- and it's going to be our biggest one yet with exciting new features and improvements"

Cool, I'll try it again then. I didn't hate what I played of it initially so I'm looking forward to giving it another go once this drops.

“We are also aware of an ongoing issue affecting PC players after the 24H2 Windows Update. We are working hard to identify both the root cause and its resolution. This investigation is taking some time; therefore, the fix couldn't be ready for this Title Update. We'll deploy one as soon as it's ready and update all affected players.”

"Solid Reviews" which some or many of them were directly influenced by Ubisoft for straight up shilling & pandering. They should really blame themselves not gamers for it failing (from previous statements).

Just picked this game up for $10 off game flip (Nvidia rtx 4000 series bundle code). Have it downloading now, while it may not be the best game I figured for $10 it's worth checking out while I'm prepping for night shifts lol.

Easily.

so you cried until you got an entire thread removed instead of moving on... pat yourself on the back.

I didn't remove any thread...obviously the people that actually run these forums/own them thought the entire thread was too far gone at this point and couldn't be saved...it was their call and the right call...I would tell Hershy or KickAssCop or someone who's actually playing the game to start up a new thread talking about the game itself and not nonsense unrelated to it...challenge accepted!

Outlaws will never be as popular or widely accepted as the Respawn SW games but hopefully the Steam release gets more people to play it

I didn't watch the video but based on the title what you just posted was about the game itself so no issues...I should have reported these posts much sooner, telling people not to post in the News section etc...thank God it's over...I will report it every single time if I see it from now on
I'm not sure what you're going on about. This story was reported by IGN, your favorite news outlet: https://www.ign.com/articles/star-w...romises-big-changes-after-disappointing-sales

I'll definitely pick this game up down the road...it's looks like a solid SW game...I'm a fan of the Jedi games more but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate another type of SW game...it got solid reviews as well...I'm sure player numbers will tick up once it hits Steam plus further patches and price discounts
