At least back then they didn't take your money upfront while making broken promises.
I only kickstarted three things in my life, but if people didn’t understand what crowdfunding is/does, then that is their problem.

Lying should be every ones problem in my opinion. People need to start being held accountable beyond just video games.
Yeah, this isn't really the hill to die on for that issue.
I am convinced that Amazon Game Studios will release their version of the game first then they will buy up the Star Citizen IP for a song. Dance number not included.
Who even really owns the IP at this stage, does EA not own the WC universe or did they license it out at some point or was it outright sold?More likely Amazon buys the IP and reskins it as an Expanse game.

Eh? Just making conversation. I am not sure what you mean, it seems like a fair statement.
No man's sky had already done a large chunk of SC with infinitely procedural worlds.. And it works stable and is great fun. By the time SC is out, NMS will have utterly eclipsed it in depth, functionality and playability. Played since launch and it's clear to see they are going down that path to intersect with SC functionality.I'm in the same boat, at this stage my hopes are the guys over at Elite Dangerous continue their feature creep and start adding more player interaction stuff, manufacturing and what nots. That or out of nowhere CCP comes out with an EvE successor that basically does all this.

Why wouldn't they?
Suckers waiting for someone who likely will not deliver vs. someone who has come from (imo mostly unjustified) vilification to sainthood.
Chris Roberts is incapable of project management and always has been. It will never be finished as promised. You might get half.. And if It's not totally outdated by launch I'll give it a shot after you lot beta test for us.
