Yeah I think Smoeki is right, you will only get rewards from this point on if you spend money in the pledge store. You won't have access to any reward you have already missed.
 
I have 2 Alien Isolation keys (I'll get in the future) and a Sniper Elite key. I'll have to trade them off at some point. :)
 
Shifty you scoundrel, my shields dropped and I'm like I didn't see any warnings or threads and nothing on my maps says I'm being attack, so where am I being shot from and then boom, killed by Cmdr. Shifty...

EDIT: I had just come back from a run and had changed out my weapons and wanted to see what they were like, the choice not to log off just cost me about 4k creds :p

EDIT2: Admittedly for me having been in anarchy space now for 5 days and a better part of that unarmed (bought a ship without enough to buy weapons), I'm surprised that was my first time being ganked at the station.

Gee that 890Jump image looks exactly like the pic someone leaked and that others took and spread it around reddit creating some stupid asinine drama. I still wonder who the original leaker was ;)

they mentioned the m50 a lot in this weeks AtV, also mentioned changes. i do not like the sound of changes to my baby lol.

If you check ebay frequently you can catch one for $20 or $30. just be cautious about the seller. I noticed people are snatching them up within minutes of being posted and I assume they are reposing them on the trade sites for $60-$50.

My fear if they will do something like a limited number of hull sales like the Idris and/or only offer it without LTI, or since it's limited they won't have enough left to offer a cross chassis upgrade for my crappy constellation. :(

In any case if they actually sell it so I can get LTI on it I may just sell off my baby ships.

I agree, the more I see the 890 the more I like it. I'm find it hard to keep my decision to earn everything past my Avenger/'Lass combo in game...
 
I'm interested in the 890 Jump when I hear about the size of the boat bay, if it has a small hangar that you can park 1 or two single seat ships like a 300i or a Hornet...I'm sold. For now my Phoenix is exactly what I'm looking for.
 
Right now I'm sitting on a Retaliator and a Starfarer but if the 890 is even close to that concept it will be mighty tempting.

They still need to build a new Corvette, I wonder how much they'll charge though for it. With the Idris being sold initially at $1000 and now being a frigate, will CIG release the corvette at around $750 and the 890 at $600.

LOL, Silver going for $40 on ebay right now, this is very rediculous.

$24 in paypal atm, so it looks like I wont be getting this by 9/9/14.
 
I wouldn't mind being a passenger in 890 Jump or escorting it with Avenger/Hornet/325i. But flying it alone...
 
Just helped a friend redeem a Gold he got for $40, almost twice what I paid. Also looks like you are limited to 3 per house hold.

This morning, we held a “go/no-go” meeting to discuss whether or not we could launch Arena Commander V0.9 today. The decision from the production team was that we are not go for release at this time. While we hope that today’s build will resolve some of the last remaining blockers we do not want to release a build that has not been thoroughly tested as these fixes may have had knock on effects. Additionally, Star Citizen’s team members have gone above and beyond lately so we didn’t want to make people work straight through the weekend again, as some worked over Labor Day and we’ll be immediately sprinting to V0.9.1 and ultimately V1.0. We know some will be disappointed not to play this weekend, but we’re also cautious about releasing an untested build to our community.

Last week, we had a number of backers asking about specific features planned for V0.9. Here’s the “short list,” which I think you will find represents a major step forward for Arena Commander!

• Murray Cup Racing Mode: As shown at Gamescom, players can now race their pledge ships in a specially designed upper-atmospheric scenario!
• Vanduul Swarm Co-Op: Take on the alien hoards with a friend, or competitor!
• Flyable M50 and 350R: The M50 and the 350R have been readied for flight to kick off the race mode. These ships will now be flyable in all Arena Commander game modes.
• Private Matches: Tired of being matched with random players in AC? Private matches will let you play with friends!
• Friend Codes: We’re launching a code system for both private and public matches so you can connect with your wingmen.
• Leaderboards: Your performance in Arena Commander’s various modes will display on the RSI website and allow you to compare with others.
• Updated Ship Performance: We’ve increased the speed and acceleration of every ship. With this we’ve also reworked the afterburner mechanic to increase acceleration instead of top speed.
• HUD Update: We’ve overhauled the usability of the visor HUD interface so you can customize your ships systems much more easily in flight.
• New Hangars: We’ve remastered all of Star Citizen’s Hangars with the new forward-looking room system and added the Asteroid Hangar.
• New Pause Menu: Our refactored pause menu is a large step forward ascetically and will support new features like custom keybindings in the future. In the meantime we’ve included selectable profiles for the most common peripherals.
• 6DOF: With the improvements to the IFCS and flight physics we are now ready to introduce 6DOF movement for an entirely new way to fly.

Some of these are big, headlining features that we know backers are eager to get their hands on; Like Murray Cup Racing and Vanduul Swarm Coop! The reality is that the less flashy features are some of the most important in the long run and also some of the most challenging. You’re seeing the individual atoms of the persistent universe coming together before your eyes. The Friend Code feature represents the first step towards connecting you with friends and organization members from the web platform in the game itself. Likewise the leaderboards involve building the platform/client connection that will someday let you interact with your character through the RSI website and will serve as the basis for stat tracking and rating based matchmaking!

Other features are a direct result of your feedback. The HUD improvement is designed to address how players have responded to HUD navigation and interaction. Every patch we release involves listening to our backers, watching them play and aiming to improve the experience. We hope that you will find the HUD much more user friendly, functional, and intuitive than it has been in previous iterations.

We’re also giving pilots more control over how they fly their ship. In addition to adding 6DOF (six degrees of freedom) controls pilots will now have the ability to “overboost” directional thrusters, at the expense of more fuel burn. This allows you to temporarily increase the thrust output of your maneuvering thrusters to better arrest undesirable angular velocity such as in a tight turn.

The physics modeling and damage feedback have also been improved. We’ve resolved some ongoing issues with the damage modeling but more importantly we also provided increased feedback to players on incoming damage and the direction it came from. You are now jostled in your ship based on the direction and power of a weapon impact. We have changed the g-force animations to more accurately reflect the physics g-force has on your character.

With a patch that adds so much and is thusly so complex as V0.9 issues are inevitably going to come up. Due to the diligent work of our team we have been able to solve most of the biggest blockers: leaderboards, rubber banding, stuttering in Vanduul Swarm Coop, and friend code issues. While these issues and a few other appear to be nearly resolved we need a couple more days to test and validate that our fixes haven’t created any new issues.

Our goal for V0.9 isn’t just to add exciting new features, it’s to keep improving every aspect of Arena Commander (and ultimately Star Citizen) based on your testing and feedback. We very much look forward to being able to share V0.9 with all of you as soon as it is proven to be stable enough to release. We are aiming for the middle of next week and we will update the community on Wednesday, September 10th about the status of the build if plans change. Until then we appreciate your patience and support as we engage in this open development process together.

Depends on how the pre-orders work. This and Arkham Knight (just cause) are the only 2 games I've pre-ordered this year and part of the reason I pre-ordered Aliens Isolation was for the pre-order bonus DLC (original cast story mode). I've seen a couple of these coupons go bad because of pre-order bonus items not being included with them, Borderlands 2 being one of the most notable ones.
 
well at the $25 price, you are more than getting alien isolation for free assuming you originally bought the gold code for star citizen and even for that it is a reduced price, plus a third meh game like thief or sniper elite 3.

so not getting the dlc is annoying but not something to worry about assuming you can pay for the dlc later if you really wanted it.

The M50 is not jump capable currently...

Here is to hoping it fits in my phoenix for transport.

The 890 will be able to transport the m50 tho. but i still do not know if i want an 890 over a retaliator. which means if the m50 does not fit in the phoenix cargo hold i will be screwed when it comes to personally transporting the m50.

Not sure if lorien will notice my m50 in my carry on bag when i board his Idris.
 
I was actually pretty shocked at that, but it confirms toy-haulers and that the 890Jump might have a small hangar or better yet, ships, if they can fit, can be treated like cargo! I'm hoping that I can fold up the wings and store it on my Phoenix.

EDIT: I know the v.9 is the big deal right now, but I just want to be able to chill in my new hangar already!
 
I was going to say, the m50 is almost the same size as P52 merlin, I was surprised people were saying it would be jump capable.


That's a plus for the 350R then I suppose, I may need to apply my upgrade finally.

If you look at the Idris you'll notice there are a couple of docking hatches right in front of the bridge which look perfect for either a pair of Cutlasses, a Constellation or a Retaliator to dock with.

They used to be more prominent in the old model but it looks like they slimmed them down to be flush with the fuselage when the ship got upgraded to Frigate. And since we know the size of docking hatches is universal that gives us a very good indication as to how much the ship has grown in size (aside from the obvious metric figures).

If I'm right it looks like the ship at best could carry a total of 5 ships. 2 small craft docked on the outside hatches and the 3 we already know it can carry internally. Hopefully it works out that way 'cause having 5 full time craft around to scout and carry out operations make my imagined plan of the Frigate as the center of a roaming battlegroup even more realistic.

P.S: One more thing I forgot. The ship has a CREW compliment of 10 (bridge crew manning officer stations to operate the ship plus turrets/missile launcher) but it can actually carry 36 players in total. :cool:
