So here is an interesting one.

I buy the game, install it, use a cd key and everything...i go to run the game, and it will not open.

I thought it might just be a bad disk to i uninstall, return, get a new game....same problem


My system is gonna enough to handle the game so what gives?

Does it try to open?
Do you get an error message?
 
You could also check your nvidia drivers, There is also a patch for the game you may want to try.
 
This will sound stupid but it is worth a try. I had a similar problem with NHL07 and for some reason this fixed it. Find the .exe file for the game. For NHL 07 there is a separate launchgame.exe application. right click it> properties> compatability> click the checkbox and select windows2000. apply > give it a try.
 
Still nothing, i contacted THQ and they have been pretty useless.

I just don't get it, My system is good enough for the game, and EVERYTHING else runs just fine.


i might just return the damn game
