Are NAND prices really going down in the future or will we just get a huge influx of cheap QLC drives while the TLC becomes "pro" and prices for those stay the same?

Debating on jumping in for these deals but could wait longer. But I don't want QLC.

Couldn't help but wonder the same thing myself. It's nice for everyone to have this new QLC option but if the "prices will fall" prediction is based on a switch to cheaper/inferior products then it's less compelling.

Picked up the 2TB mx500 off Amazon yesterday for $208. It will probably be cheaper 6 months from now but that's how most things go anyway

Is it inferior if you download games on a QLC drive and there are patches but you don't really uninstall them and rewrite the drive? If I download Overwatch on a 2TB drive that's such a low percentage of the capacity it can stay on for five years.

But I want it to be 25% cheaper or more. Something like that.
