Squiggly lines popping up on Dell 30"

Anyone ever have this problem? I only see it mainly on light colored backgrounds, either solid light grey or during lighter colored backgrounds. Usually during solid colors it's not there.

This is a few faint squiggly lines on the right hand side that don't even go all the way up, and seem to be growing over time. Is this a sign that my monitor is about to kick out? Had it over 3 years so it's out of warranty of course.

I guess when taking a picture with my phone, more lines appeared that I didn't notice before.. lol
 
BTW it's not my video card or hardware. I unplugged the monitor and rebooted it and the first screen to come up is a solid light grey color and it's there. When the monitor flashes any other solid color it's gone....
