I mean after all of the failed South Park games, they FINALLY find a studio that does a great one and then at the first chance they dump them for a new studio, sigh.
Who says Ubisoft dumped them? Obsidian has two others games in the works. Maybe they just weren't interested in doing another South Park.
Not to mention at how they took a jab at the game with it's "Terrible" combat in the trailer, I mean wtf?
This is what gave me hope. The combat was boring as heck. There was very little variation you just use the same skills that work best in the same order pretty much every fight. Combat felt the same as costume quest. Just really simple turn based combat. After a few hours of playing the game I rather would have just watched a movie made out of the cut scenes.
Look at classics like final fantasy. Turn based standing in a line waking each other can work great, but you need a lot more variation to make it entertaining.
I just finished the Stick Of Truth, it was god damn hilarious.....Obsidian did a top notch job in recreating the aesthetic and atmosphere of an actual South Park episode. I didn't realize that Obsidian weren't doing the sequel, so of course I now have real reservations about Ubi not some how fucking it up (as they seem to do on a regular basis these days).
We will do our best.UBI? Oh fuck me. Let hopes those bastards don't ruin this one too.
The fact that they don't have Obsidian working on this and have some internal Ubisoft studio has me hesistant.

Not really what we waiting for. You could tell this game wasn't going to be demanding just like the first one was. Still looks great. The moment everyone has been waiting for, the system requirements:

Looks like it'll run 60FPS since there are requirements for 1080p @ 60FPS.
I was surprised that I enjoyed the last game, so this will definitely sit on my wishlist until I finish all the junk I bought during the summer sale.
lots of tedious fetch quests and the game's pacing is slow.
