sound gets louder then softer

with anything i am doing i dont notice it as bad with some thigns but playing music i notice it really bad. It will be at the right volume then get quiet then go up then back down.

It is really strange.

I have a DFI Infinity 3800x2, and Audigy 2 ZS

How much difference between tracks are you noticing?
(i assume that is what you are reffering to)
 
no i mean liek one song will get loud then it will get soft then loud again

i dont know maybe a 8db difference maybe more
 
could be your speakers. My speakers do it sometimes also, I suspect dust in the volume control or something. Doesn't happen with my headphones.
