Sooo I want to uy a monitor from Bestbuy ...

Right now I am sitting using a Acer 20 inch LCD monitor. I upgraded to 2 x4870's so really this monitor will not do it justice.

With that said I am looking at buying a new monitor. This is one of the only things Ill buy from a B&M store because if it goes boom or there is a problem with it... its much cheaper to return it to the store.

So right now I am trying to think of one to buy. I am illiterate when it comes to monitors.. I dont understand the contrast ect ect....

While it certainly is easier and faster to return it to a B&M store, it's not necessarily cheaper when you factor in Best Buy is often $50 - $75 higher for a similar item you can get on sale online.

You should check out NCIXUS. Their sales are great plus they offer the zero dead pixel guarantee for typically $10 - $20, which allows you free RMAs until you get a perfect monitor.

Frankly, I'd avoid that Hanspree. Here are my suggestions:

1. BenQ G2400WD or V2400W -- NCIXUS has on & off sales on these for ~ $315 - $340 shipped with the ZDP guarantee.
2. LG L2452T-TF -- Best viewing angles of all 24" TNs I've seen but lacks HDMI and is expensive IMO. Sold at Best Buy ~ $399
3. Asus VW266H -- Saw this recently...gorgeous. On sale at Newegg for $330 shipped. Has HDMI, DVI, VGA, and component connectors.
4. HP w2408h -- An oldie but a goodie if you like glossy screens. Also sold at Best Buy and elsewhere but you play the panel lottery with these. Samsung 'LTM' = win, LG 'LPL' = suck.
