This looks SO MUCH BETTER than Sonic 4.



Seriously, This is on my short list.
 
Count me in the 'excited' group. I don't have a current gen console because I don't have the time for it, but I can see it has a PC version.

Time to bring out the 360 controller.
 
So essentially a HD remake of the original Sega Genesis games?

If they include all 3, including Sonic 3 and Knunckles, on PC, I'll even kickstart this if that's what they are asking.

When I say "Looks" I'm saying "seems as though it will be"

Sonic 4 was fine visually, it just played... not well.

It was best described as "What a good 2D Sonic game on the Saturn should have been". It's an all new game with remastered levels and new zones entirely. It looks as though it plays exactly like Sonic 2: IE, spin-dash but no elemental shields. From the released footage, its hard to say if there will be character specific abilities like in Sonic 3.
 
It definitely looks cool, and I'm interested. I just hope they do a better job with the physics, compared to some of the issues with Sonic The Hedgehog 4.
