Sonic Ether, Minecraft shader creator has chosen to remove the Patreon paywall

Neat. I've been wanting to see how SEUS PTGI looks. Guess I can.

...Is there a download link hiding somewhere?

Also, there's another shader out there for ANY game, this one: https://www.patreon.com/mcflypg and there are some fine folks at Reddit who upload every release.

I used it on Assassin's Creed and it made a big difference.
That link didn't have the ptgi download, which is what I'm mostly curious about. Though I will check out renewed. I'm actually running seus ultra at the moment with my Iris + Sodium client and its crazy smooth.

I'm not going to link the download for the second one, but some google fu and you should find it with no issue.

Yeah, i just thought that the announcement meant that he had it easily available to everyone, which is why i was confused when I can't seem to find it hosted on his own site.

Edit: They're available on his patreon page. He made posts with downloads visible for all. That's a bit confusing.

Gave em a try. This city is the main hub of my multiplayer server, Figured it was a view that would show off a bunch of different lighting effects. I'm using Sodium + Iris, so theres a chance that there are effects that work in Optifine that are broken with Sodium + Iris, but Sodium + Iris performance is literally 2-3x that of optifine so I changed over.

Default, shaderless: 165FPS (my cap)

SEUS PTGI, looks amazing, lots of weird shimmering and the water is a bit too see through. HUGE performance drain, looks fantastic during the day. About 30-40fps

SEUS Renewed for comparison (70-80 FPS)

and the absolutely unnecessary and over effects Sildurs Vibrant Extreme (65-70fps)

Night though is where it becomes REALLY apparent the differences in how they handle light sources.

SEUS PTGI is actually *too* dark. It's hard to tell because so much of this picture is lit up due to it being our city, but look at the tree covered mountain to the right. You walk one block out of a light radius and everything is black.

I Forgot which pack this was, but I like how it renders the night. Maybe BSL?

And funnily enough, I actually like Sildurs Vibrant Extreme for night best because you can still see around stuff and it looks really pretty.
