Something as good as GTX 460 with low power usage?

I hear the HD 7770 is the best for low power, but I was told it would not be backwards compatible for my PCI Express 1.x... Yes I still have the same computer from 2007 and yes I still play games, so if anyone has another low power idea, I would love to hear it!

Gtx 460 was my first choice for performance but then I saw around 220 watts on load, HOLY CRAP.

oh didnt look there. Well I've read that the ati Radeon HD 5570 can run on computer with low wattage. It recommends 400w, but apparently it works just fine at much lower watts. I recently bought a nvidia gt 610 for my pc which recommends 300w that may workout for you.

4670 will probably work. they go for about 50-60 now. runs things fine at 900p.
