Some wmv cause cpu to go to %100

I have a few wmv files to cause my cpu to jump to %100, makes the video choppy and slows the computer down. I done switch media players and it still does it. Only time the video is smooth is when i play it in movie maker. What might couse this help is relly needed.
 
I would say bad codec, or bad rip...(encoding)..
 
Bad codec or bad rip. I had that happen to me with a bad Divx file but for the life of me I can't remember what I did to fix it, try updating your codecs and Windows and your apps.
 
update i reinstall windows i have all the codecs up to date and it still does not work. Only plays fine in movie maker :(
