Some IMG postings not viewable

What I see with Firefox (Mac and PC), Internet Explorer 11 (PC, no addons) and Safari (Mac, no addons):

The only way I can see that image is to start a reply to that post - and then the image becomes visible in the post editor when quoted. I have seen a few other posts with that issue, possibly only from that one person, but I'm not certain they are the ones doing something wrong because I don't know how to see what code they are using to post the image.

FYI - I thought they were images that were deleted because of some rules violation, then I noticed yesterday I think even one of Kyle's posts in the political memes thread was showing that 'x' too. It seems random.

I removed the "attredirects=0" redirect on the post that the OP pointed to and it is visible now.
