Solution for 8x 1920*1080 HDMI output?

Can somebody please provide me with a solution for this? We currently have some bizarre 7750 cards with dual vhdci to HDMI adaptors but we cannot get 8 displays to show up, at the most we can only get 6 or 7 depending on what mood the cards are in. We have a pretty beefy board with 3 pci-e slots.

I was thinking we might go with 2x AMD Firepro W4100 with 4 active mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adaptors, but was hoping there was a more cost effective option as those adapters cost $20 a piece....

What OS? How many cards are you using and are they crossfired? If yes to being crossfired you will need to remove the bridge and disable crossfire. That's about as far as I can go I'm sure someone else will chime in with other suggestions.

No crossfire

they don't even have a crossfire bridge. Note that this setup did work previously and now it doesn't. We had windows 7 and it stopped displaying to all 8 monitors at some point. I reinstalled 7 and faced the same issue, so we tried Windows 10 and alas, same issue...

I have a client that uses 2 quadro cards to drive 8 1080p 70" Vizio TVs for a camera video wall. They are DP native but work great with HDMI adapters.
