Works fine. Used very little. Just too loud for my wife to tolerate it so it has been sitting in storage for the last 3 years.

Shipped via USPS, in whatever packaging I can get ahold of (too big for most flat rate boxes)

It does not. It’s all plastic in the outside. There might be metal for a frame, but I’ve never opened it to look.

Does this have a metal case/body like the IBM models?
This is a twin of the one I bought for my dad. I have several model Ms including the originals and all of them are plastic cases of varying quality depending on if it is unicomp, ibm, or lexmark, but all of them use a metal plate and the plastic rivet system of holding it all together.

The feel of this layout is the same as any of my other model M, but the sound is a different pitch. On my dad's unicomp of this style the sound more of a 'thock' than on the unicomp or original M designs. Pleasing to use just as always and if you want the windows keys without it affecting the original alt and ctrl positions, this is the model to get.
