Software for creating private cloud? (ownCloud, etc.)

I'm looking to establish my own private Dropbox setup. I've been Googling around to see what my options are, and from what I can tell it is the following:

ownCloud
NextCloud
Seafile

It has proven difficult to find a lot of feedback on these three. ownCloud seems the most prolific.

Just got a Synology NAS and I'll try their Cloud app but looking for something I can run without it, preferably on Windows 10.

Anything else that I missed? Anything run natively on Windows?

My needs are pretty basic, like I said I just want my own Dropbox.

FWIW, many of the OwnCloud developers split off to start NextCloud. This happened fairly recently, which would be why there's relatively less specifically about the latter.
 
I did see that. Still can't find (what I consider) a credible source to get solid information about them. I fired up Synology's cloud service today. So far it is working perfectly, just like Dropbox. I'll just roll with this until I have problems.
