So in what Order do you test out your NEW BUILD ?

So just did my build and now will run test to make sure all my parts are good to go...

What order do you all run your test...below is the order I do mine in....

Monitoring
1) GPU-z
2) MSI AFTERBURNER

Test
1) Prime 95-Memory
2) Unigine Valley-GPU


So what others test and or monitoring do you all use..to Test/check out your New builds
 
First, I test my cooling loop to make sure it is running and there are no burps.

Then I will do a post boot to make sure the motherboard is "happy" with the components.

Then I will do a MemTest+ and Drive Tests to make sure I don't get any errors on them.

Then I will install the OS, download and install the latest drivers.

Then I will run Prime95 for about 1/4/8 hours to verify the CPU and cooling are sufficient.

Then I will OC the CPU and rinse repeat with Prime95 until I find the right OC.

Then I will likely download Afterburner and GPU-z.

I will OC the GPU and test it out, monitoring temperatures.

I will likely run the latest GPU benchmark software to verify stability. Rinse repeat until I find the right OC.

Then I will run the latest bench test software suites to check overall performance.
 
for my last build, I ran Prime Torture Test for 24 hours with Valley running in he background.

That's all you really need to do, assuming it doesn't crash.
