Snipping Tool Question

Is there anyway to OPEN images with the snipping tool, that already exists? I know there isn't any option in the utility itself.. but perhaps some way to do it through the registry or some other way? I doubt it... but figured if it's possible, someone may know. It can obviously read the .jpeg format. Thanks guys! :cool:
 
Open file in your favorite image viewing tool. Capture it with snipping tool.

Voila! Now it is in the snipping tool!
 
The snipping tool creates images, it doesn't open them. What are you trying to do - crop an image? Just use paint.

I use the snipping tool all the time and I'm curious as to why you would want to open a .jpg in it. Am I missing something cool here?
