Smoothwall Express + D-Link 300T = HELP?

I need to know how to make my smoothie work with my 300T, as simple as that. Im not sue wht info to give so ask what you want.
 
Well, what have you tried so far? Make sure you decide which one will manage your DCHP, etc. Then, take it from there.
 
I dont want to use DHCP I was hoping to use static IP's, I have the modem plugged into the smoothie RED interface and the smoothie into my router (this wont be routing - it just serves as a WAP and switch)
 
Ok, so basically make sure DHCP is turned off on both devices, make sure the Dlink doesn't have its firewall turned on....I think that should get you going. I haven't had any expereince working with smoothwall, read alot about it, but have yet to work with it.
 
There is no option to turn a firewall off in the modem, in the log it says that it is on though.
