Awesome "toys" like this are one of the best reasons in the world to have kids. There is no way the wife would approve trying to buy a $1,000 smart go cart like this for yourself but, when you can totally claim it's for the kids, now it's a go!

MY kids would have a blast with this, unfortunately, they are a bit old for it.

one will be driving next summer, the other two will be 13...now if this was 4 years ago.,..3 of them under the tree....one for each.

Yeah, 1K is a bit much. Maybe a version that doesn't have all the wifi stuff added.

Hell with the kids, I would have fun driving it. :)

1000$? Get them a small dirt bike or atv instead like when I was a kid. So much more fun even though gas powered.

This, and forget the Chinese made garbage that ends up at the dump in a year. Get an old Honda ATC or XR or go cart and spend some time fixing it up. Then you can sell it 5 years down the road for more than you bought it for because guess what, it still runs.

Maybe if it was significantly greater than 12MPH max.

The entire video has her driving in the street.

$1k is a bit steep. I'd rather build a mtb and take em to the slopes for that cash.

In private communities and subdivisions kids can drive anything without tags. It's like taking your kid to an empty parking lot to drive when they don't even have a drivers permit.

Yea, that, or even a regular go-kart. Get off your phone and stop meddling mum! And take us to a track instead of on the street that only reinforces into me that it's ok to blindly do stupid shit on public roads with no regards to cars because mum and dad says it's safe to do. And also that it's our private space that we can fill the entire road with cones because it's ours.

It's worth noting that electric motors last longer than internal combustion. I'm not sure exactly if this is a good price, but I would expect it to retain value quite well.

Considering that a shitty PowerWheels will set you back 3-400, its not that far fetched.
